LUCILE

Freedom and elegance in nude.

Lucile offers functional, stylish and refined solutions to any dressing challenge to allow women to feel confident in their nudity and to encourage self-love on the inside and out. The brand identity was consciously developed around the desire to remain elegant while being sensual, thus aspiring women to challenge the perception of the naked female body from a confident and feminine perspective.

Lucile was inspired by two artistic movements, burlesque and nude photography in the 20th century, both symbolic of female expression and empowerment, to create an appreciation for the female body. The first as a reflection of glamour, luxury and admiration for every type of body; the other as a subtle representation of nudity as art.

The simplicity of the chosen typeface allows for a timeless look to balance the romantic and artistic silhouettes designed to represent the beauty in every female body. Inspired by Lucy Duff-Gordon, famously acknowledged for freeing women from restrictive corsets while promoting sexy and liberating lingerie, Lucile emerges as a powerful female character to communicate the essence of the brand.
